Overview
PharmAllies is a pharmaceutical consulting firm with 14+ years of experience. They offer consulting services to FDA-regulated industries, ensuring validated and compliant computerized systems.
Our cross-functional team of five was tasked with delivering a usable, visually compelling, and compliant SOP learning tool with supporting assets that align with PharmAllies' brand.
Problem Statement
PharmAllies’ Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) is a 76-page document that is dense with detailed technical information that is difficult to digest.
Our goals were to
Simplify and reformat the SOP
Build a user friendly learning tool

Journey Map
Information Architecture
Below is the information architecture for just one of the SDLC's five phases, derived from the initial read-through of the SOP document.

This was the first of many similar hurdles:
Due to its complexity, the SDLC SOP required a few weeks of correspondence to become comfortable with and simplify this one phase (see below).

The solution:
Focus on the Planning Phase of the SDLC
Develop a solid framework for future teams
Project Approach
Divide & Conquer
UI/UX Design Team
Simplify the SOP experience without sacrificing the quality of content through a visually-engaging, interactive experience.
AI Integration Team
Ideation
Here are a few early stage designs
Interactive Prototype
Most text content has been redacted/replaced due to an NDA.
Next Steps
This project will continue to develop as future teams design the interfaces for the other SDLC stages. The end goal is to integrate AI directly into the interface to create one cohesive experience.
